IT Projects Engineer
Salary: Up to £37,500 depending on experience

Sir William Perkins’s School are looking to appoint an IT Projects Engineer to work closely with the School’s IT Manager in researching, implementing, and completing projects on the school’s IT Roadmap, to help drive forward the school’s digital strategy.
The position is full time (40 hours a week), 52 weeks of the year and would initially be for a fixed term period until 31 August 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Technician or IT Systems Administrator looking to work on both technical and process-related projects, including infrastructure and hardware installation and configurations, automation, security, and cloud platform implementations.
The individual will need to engage with School staff to identify processes that could be digitised or automated and implement solutions to improve efficiency and collaboration throughout the School. They will be knowledgeable in a wide range of technical areas and able to flexibly take on tasks both in and out of their comfort zone. They will work collaboratively with the rest of the IT team and independently when needed.
