We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate who is looking for a new challenge and to further broaden their skills and experience. The Second in English assists the Head of English in leading the department and developing and enriching the outstanding English curriculum and co-curricular activities.

The Second in Department will be committed to providing academic support to the students studying with the department and will lead the department in the absence of the Head of English. This full-time, permanent position commences in September 2020.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing independent girls’ School for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It was founded in 1725 and is now on an attractive 12 acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.
